The European Development Days, co-organized by the European Commission and the Swedish Presidency, were held in Stockholm on 22-24 October 2009. For the occasion, the blog Ideas for Development organised a series of reports allowing the readers to follow the event:

• a live diary of the EDDs with summaries of the sessions and interviews of present personalities: Dr Pachauri (IPCC), Donald Kaberuka (AfDB), Margot Wallström (Vice-president of the European Commission), Eva Joly (European Parliament), Koos Richelle (EuropAid), and many others.
   
• comments written live from Stockholm by members of the blog

• the first “guest blogger’s post” written by Anders Nordström (Director General of SIDA)

• a contribution from Margot Wallström on the role of women in fighting climate change.
